Analysing Argument in the New Study Design

February 19th - Webinar

Looking for ideas for how to use audio and visual elements in your Argument Analysis work?

Perhaps you want to refresh some of your resources for both classwork and exam revision?

This online session will cover a range of teaching strategies to take your classes from plain exploration of argumentative texts to rich and purposeful analysis of argument.

Attendees will be provided with two booklets of resources - one that takes students through the essential skills in the lead up to their SAC and another with exam preparation material. Both booklets will be full of sample pieces modelling the skills and strategies covered, meaning you and your team head back to your school with ready-to-go lessons!

See what some of our previous presentation attendees had to say about our sessions.

"A really practical-based session, provision of effective strategies and teacher support on how to implement these to get the best out of every student. This has to be the best Comparative PD yet! Highly recommend it!"

- Caitlin, Elisabeth Murdoch College

"These resources feel immediately useful, and collated in a meaningful sequence...I feel as thought I could confidently give the the workbook to use as the 'unit plan'. It's a huge weight off my shoulders and a wonderful way to begin a unit."

"Being in a regional area meant being able to access this online was actually a real bonus. I also really appreciate the fact that I can go back over the presentation again as I need to."

- Kath, King's College
